We breathe a second life into obsolete and disregarded wooden structures, reclaiming to create low-carbon products from our plant in Battleford, Saskatchewan.
THE ADVANTAGES OF AGED WOOD
Mass Timber is an environmentally conscious, aesthetically pleasing, structurally sound building material choice.
“Old growth,” wood that is hundreds of years old, is stronger than the 60-year-old green wood that is harvested from a forest. A log that is hundreds of years old has more growth rings and a larger diameter, providing more knot-free lumber for harvest.
In addition, it takes hundreds of years for gorgeous, grain-sculpted designs to be developed. Aged wood’s natural beauty allows it to be exposed, cutting down on the costs and time of installing finishes. We offer grain sculpted select tight knot (TK) Western red cedar panel cribbing art panels.

Wood is also the only completely renewable structural material, as it sequesters carbon from the atmosphere. This makes it carbon-negative, even better than carbon-neutral. In addition to design and structure, mass timber offers major advantages as a sustainable building material.
